A Harnett County Tradition - The Annual Groundhog Day Breakfast
Several years back a tradition known as the Annual Harnett County Groundhog Day Breakfast was begun and now every year over 200 friends come together to break bread and look for signs of an early spring. It's a great opportunity to talk politics, meet candidates and elected officials, make new friends and say hello to old ones. The tradition continues this year and I hope you will join me once again.
Breakfast starts this Saturday, February 6 at 8am and will be served at The Commons of the Harnett County Government Complex on Route 401 in Lillington.
The breakfast is free of charge, but contributions can be made to the Harnett County Democratic Party who hosts the event.
I look forward to seeing you there, but feel free to leave your shadow at home.
