Humane Society Endorses Etheridge for Re-Election

Raleigh - The Humane Society today endorsed Congressman Bob Etheridge for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives. Etheridge represents the Second Congressional District of North Carolina.
"I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Humane Society and look forward to working with them in the 111th Congress to educate the public about animal protection issues and to promote more humane treatment of animals," said Etheridge.
In a letter to Etheridge Humane Society Executive Director Sara J. Amundson wrote, "We are grateful for your support of humane issues, and for your work to create a more humane society."
Etheridge lives in Lillington in Harnett County and was elected to Congress in 1996.
